2026 anniversary
My website turned 1 year old a few days ago on August 14th of 2026 and I forgot about it like the irresponsible father I am and I'm really really sorry about that and trying to make up for it by throwing a slightly late birthday party, better late than never right?
(Thank you Water for the idea!!) so I thought, what better way to celebrate my website's birthday than a stats overview? it can be a super cool way of having a timeline and seeing how far I've come in just 365 days and admiring all the progress I've made this year :]

The Sam awards (A.K.A my favorites)
So far my focus has been on compiling purely objective data so to spice it up a little I'm adding a way more subjective category, my favorite parts of my website! sorry if I get all emotional here but I'm just so proud of myself for having gone from a complete tech-iliterate dumbass to a semi-decent programmer in a relatively short window of time and I'm just so happy with my work that it will be really hard to pick just one thing I love for some of these categories, remember that these are all my own personal opinion and we might disagree on some things
Most creative
Poorly translating memes in spanish!
Maybe I just haven't been to enough websites but it's not really common to see multilingual pages and even if the topic of mine is very silly and unserious I'm really proud to share that side of my culture because we're fucking hilarious so I deeply apologize for how badly I've abandoned this page, given the fact I have to edit a video and try to make the translation as accurate as possible this is one of the hardest pages to update for me but really that should motivate to update it more so I promise that by next year you will see at least a few of the most iconic clips of some of my favorite hispanic youtubers
Most interesting
Maybe my predictions aren't revolutionary or very educated guesses but I think this page is interesting because of it's nature as an attempt to predict the unpredictable, you never know what to expect with Danganronpa because this franchise somehow always finds a way to surprise me and that's precisely why I think trying to predict it is so fun! realistically most of this will age as milk but who knows I might have gotten some things right and no matter what this will be a fun time capsule once the game comes out
Most useful
Is anyone surprised? for as basic as the idea of a graphics collection is I am very very proud of mine, maybe I'm biased since this was the first page I made but objectively this is a pretty dang impressive collection I mean you saw the statistics above, I have adquired 1,0 fun decorative GIFs in the span of a year, that's something to be proud of! and I try my best to always link back to the original creator so it's sort of an archive and almost a history lesson since some of these pages are really damm old, it's also pretty well organized so you can find something for pretty much any weird kind of interest you have
Most beautiful
Most of my pages use the same template so this category was a bit hard to choose a winner for but I think I really outdid myself with this layout, it's way more consistent that most of my website and I rememeber thinking I was such a genius when I came up with the idea of using the shadow men as a sort of mascot for my saxophone shrine, I just think this is a really pretty, well designed and nice to look at page and the mini shadow guy shimeji is my favorite part he's really cute :3
Most complex
None of the pages here are very technologically complex (yet) but I think the most complicated page to do by far is the one with my favorite YouTube videos, not only does it have that cool content filter but also just the sheer number of videos all filtered through categories and organized by duration is absurd and the fact that I watch this much YouTube is kinda concerning but I don't care this page is my pride and joy
Most unfinished
To all the people who sent an application and haven't recived a response yet I am so sorry, I have no idea how I let it get this bad, at first I just procratinated a few applications because I was busy with school but somehow it got to a point where now there's more people that haven't been added yet than people that have and there was a time where I didn't even want to add those people because it would be kinda embarrasing to explain that it took me literal months to copy and paste a few lines of code but I promise I'll do better and I'm gonna add all the pending applications as soon as I can!

I had SO MUCH fun writing this, being overdramatic and explaining stuff that no one but me cares about with a ridiculous level of detail for comedic and / or dramatic effect is my specialty and I think this the best example I have of that aspect of my writing and out of all my blogs I feel like out of all my blogs this is the one that represents the most authentic side of me and talks about what's really important in my life: playing videogames with friends and getting mutually frustrated at a hell of our creation

I just love this page so much, it's probably the one I update most consistently and definetly the one I'm the most proud of, it has a ton of variety and a bunch of fun videos that I love to rewatch every now and then, it also fullfils what has always been my #1 objective ever since I created my website, helping others and sharing knowledge, YouTube nowadays is full of trash and videos meant to waste your time and while I'm not gonna act like my colection is full of the most intelectual content on the platform I definetly believe I've found some pretty cool recomendations that could be useful for anyone whose algorithim reccomnds worthless poorly made stuff and just wants an entertaining video to pass the time
Now what?
I managed to survive an entire year of experimenting and messing around with code which is pretty cool but now what? what does the future have in store?
Think of this as something similar to a new year's resolution, I'm gonna set here some goals for the year so I can revisit them next anniversary and see how many I finished
- Interact more with other websmasters
- Install an RSS feed and check it regularly
- Fix all hotlinked images
- Make it to 100 YouTube videos
- Have over 50 neighbors
- Make more webgraphics
- Blog more consistently
- Add everone pending to the webring
- Have a more extensive vocabulary
