How to deal with those god awful mannequins in that stupid mannequin room [little nightmares 2]
1:06
Pretty good tutorial of how to get through that hellish room (if you are having trouble doing the spinning thing) but if I'm being honest the reason I'm putting this video here is because the title resonated with me and I can feel the hours of frustration behind it's creation just by reading it, I
those stupid mannequins and I
the janky controls of that fucking flashlight and it made me smile to see others sharing my pain
OOGLY GOO - Smiling Friends The Game (DS) OST
1:25
This entire channel is a gold mine for remixes for a bunch of hypothetical Smiling Friends videogames and I love every single one of them, the music is unironically really good and it really captures the style of both Smiling Friends and the era of videogames it replicates and the comments acting like these were all real games they played during their childhoods are the cherry on top
GATES OF HALLOWNEST [Hollow Knight Animation]
1:28
An amazing Hollow Knight animation that portrays some of the game's most iconic moments, the art style is really beautiful, the animation is really fluid and it utilizes the music and sound effects perfectly, I think it captures really well the escense of the game and watching it makes me really nostalgic of my first playtrough
The Summoning - Nerdy Prudes Must Die Animatic
1:49
It breaks my heart that this is so short because it brilliantly captures the energy of the song and it's filled with so many details and easter eggs that add a ton to the characterization of everyone (Wiggly standing on the stage since he's the leader, Ted's silhouette in the bastard's box, the lords appearing in the order they're named in the ritual, just to name a few) and the animation is so fluid with absolutely gorgeous transitions and a ton of callbacks to each lord's first appearence, the designs are beautiful, seriously I don't think I have enough words to describe how much I love this animatic
Nobody - White Lady | Hollow Knight Animatic
3:30
The white lady is such a mysterious character that we don't know much about so seeing an interpretation of her where she is lonely and truly sees the vessels as her children who she loves and misses is heartbreaking, the same artist has a few other Hollow Knight animatics so if you liked this one you should 100% check those out, their White Ball video is beautiful and I wasn't sure if I should recommend this one or that one here because I really can't pick a favorite
Only a lad // Oingo Boingo animation
4:04
Probably my favorite unofficial music video, it's an insanely detailed animation to one of my favorites Oingo Boingo songs, pretty much every single frame has some sort of easter egg, the colors can be a little eyestraining but it's part of what makes the art style so beautiful and they are a pretty crucialmpart of the story-telling, it's a very fun video to break down and analize frame by frame because everything is placed there intentionally and serve a purpose
Eighth Wonder | Kirby Animatic
4:07
A beautifully made animatic featuring one of my favorite Kirby characters, the art style is adorable and fits perfectly with the Kirby franchise and the visual story-telling is amazing (like with the way the colors change depending on which character is on-screen showing how Elfilis and Fecto Forgo are incomplete when separated, it's subtle but it deliver a message without needing the use of words), Panic has a ton of Kirby animatic just as beautiful as Eight Wonder but this my favorite one! (with Biggering as a close second)
OK, but What Are The Other 403 Errors?
5:05
Short and sweet explanation of how the HTTP system work and what they mean, I love it when people answer complicated or more technical questions like this in a way that's clear and simple to comprehend and this channel has lots of videos of this same genre that not only answer your inital question without overcomplicating it but also share some fun trivia about the topic
ICE Levels Have No Place In Games
5:08
Ice levels fucking suck, they benefit nobody and just make everything more complicated for no reason and I think this summarizes my opinions on the matter in a much more eloquent way that I could ever dream of using with a series of bullet points that are explained with total clarity and the seriousness a topic as horrifying as this deserves
Undertale is a horribly made game
10:31
Undertale is a materpiece but the fact that it's playable is miracle, the code is an absolute mess and everything is held together by nothing but hopes and dreams, it's really funny to look at and see how much of a disaster this incredible game is on the inside but I also think that it's really inspiring how as long as you do something with love and dedication it doesn't matter if you aren't an expert, you can still create something amazing
How to Drink Tea Like an English Gentleman
12:07
Despite it's slightly comedic presentation (since it's all pretty exagerated) this is a really useful and well explained tutorial, the instructions are clear and precise and even the details that some would consider "common sense" are still explained in detail, the visuals are great and a huge help at getting the info across and at the end you are left with absolutely no doubts, you know what items you need to make tea, where to get them, how to make the tea and te proper ettiquete for drinking it in different settings
A Review and Appraisal of Every Burgerpants and Pizzapants Sprite
16:17
Really funny and surprisingly well structurated, detailed and beautifully edited, with a somewhat logical explanation for each rating (but mostly just someone gushing about their favorite character) + I will always be here to support someone with a weird as hell favorite character, the dedication this channel has to this overworked kitty is admirable and really makes me hope he will have more screentime in the future because this person's love is infectious and seeing their videos has made me develop a fondness for this minimmum-wage employee I would have never expected to feel
Solving Reddit's Cylinder Problem with Science
16:57
There's something so fascinating about smart people using their knowledge for stupid things such as this one, the insane ammount of time, dedication and hard work that went into the creation of this video is wild to me, all that effort and resources just to get a laugh out of strangers on the internet and solve the question burning in the back of the minds' of anyone (un)fortunate enough to have been there in that Reddit thread, I laughed just as much as I flinched, science truly is amazing
Lego Batman's Subversive Queercoding
21:48
An amazing summary of Batman's history with homosexuality and masculinity and a surprisingly deep analisis of Batman and the Joker's relationship in this film and the way this goes against the homophobic nature of their characters because it's not just "haha the two men that hate each other act like a divorced couple" (altough that certainly plays a part in it) but a complete dissection of the way comic book writers have wrote these 2 to fullfill a power fantasy and Lego Batman somehow makes them really acurate to their comic counterparts while still satirizing this aspect of their personalities, just one of the many reason Lego Batman is my favorite superhero movie
RICHIE’S D**TH is More Horrifying Than You Think | A NPMD ANALYSIS
23:32
When I first watched NPMD I remember thinking that Richie's death was unecesarily cruel for no real reason but this video offers a really great analisis on the circumstances of his demise that made me finally understand it all (and feel even worse for the guy because holy shit he suffered so much), there's so much thought put into this sequence and I love how well this guy explains every aspect of it, the drawn-out torture of Richie, Max's need for control and Richie's attempt to challenge it, the social hierarchy Max struggled so much to mantain that crumbled the second he was gone, it's amazing how much there is to this moment and how clearly it's all explained here
Lore you missed in City of Tears | Taking Inventory of Hollow Knight
33:07
CCmaci is my favorite Hollow Knight youtuber and this video features all of the aspects I enjoy about their channel so much, the editing is gorgeous and it makes the entire video so much more inmersive and interesting, the analisis is very well made with a lot of the focus being put in the enviromental storytelling told through seemingly minor details that show just how much love was put into this game and the theories are always explained step by step without any leaps in logic so the conclusions always feel very natural, I'm a big fan of the Taking Inventory series because it gives insight into speculation of how Hallowenest might have been nefore the infection
Redesigning THE TEACHER from Little Nightmares 2
35:31
I love Little Nightmares 2 as much as the next guy so while I disagree with some of the criticism of the game presented I still find this to be an INCREDIBLE reimagining that takes a completely different approach while still mantaining the esence of the game we know and love, every aspect of the character down to the most minor details is greatly designed with every trait having a clever reasoning behind it's inclusion, The Overman is by a long shot the best YouTube channel I know when it comes to Little Nightmares content because every video has so much passion behind it, the art is fascinating and so accurate to the games and he always as something new to bring to the table, I'm a huge fan of his videos and if you enjoy this series even just a little bit please check out the rest of their videos, it'll be so worth it I swear
Why Is Berdly In Deltarune? An (Over)Analysis
37:02
I hate the way so many people in the fandom mischaracterize Berdly, he's an awesome character with a lot more depth that you would expect so please I'm begging everyone, both fans and haters of Berdly to watch this video, it perfectly demonstrates why he's such a great and dare I say tragic character and it tackles some aspects of him I rarely see people mention, it's a perfect analis (although slightly outdated since this was from back when we only had 2 chapters) that I swear it could make you change your mind about him
Over-analyzing EVERY Happy Tree Friends Character (Part 1)
37:24
Happy Tree Friends isn't known for it's consistency which is why it's really fun for me to see this video analysing it so in-depth and showing that to a certain extent the show does have a set of patterns that it follows, the attention to detail in this is impressive and it cover perfectly every aspect of the characters, I really recommend checking out the rest of the channel if you like HTF, they always talk about the most obscure info there is to know about the show and even if you think you now everything I can guarantee you'll learn something new
Whats up with the Moon? - Secret of the Mimic - Fnaf Theory
41:53
3 theories that attempt to explain the moon's identity in Secrets of the Mimic, the first one is pretty unlikely and uninteresting and it's only included to inmediatly be debunked, the second seems to be the most probable one given the context clues we get and I believe it's the canon answer but the third theory is the true star of the show and the reason I'm recommending you this video, it's an extremely poetic and satisfying conlusion to a very important character by having their worst sin become what drives them to madness, it also features the best interpretation of David's death I have ever seen anyone theorize about, it's much cooler and more interesting than what we see in Tales of the Pizzaplex and I hope it's canon
(Over) Analyzing FFPS Lawsuits
43:18
I love seeing people analizing something unimportant, it's really fun to see how much detail goes into the things nobody pays attention to and it can give us something new to talk about, to be fair none of these lawsuits reveal anything super important about the lore but they give a bit of insight into Fazbear Entertainment as a bussiness and they are really really funny, the comedy of FNaF is a very underappreciated aspect of the franchise but it's one of my favorite parts about it
What The Hell is Slendrina?
48:52
A recap of all 10 games of this pretty nostalgic character from the early 2010s, altough this wasn't the complex deep dive into the lore I expected when I clicked I was pleasantly surprised to find some great comedy (serioulsy how does she own so much land?!) and most importantly a beautiful conclusion about the way we value art, the importance of childish horror, that certain charm behind what we usually deem as low quality and elitism/cynism in the gaming industry and the way this damages our capacity to earnestly enjoy things
The Burgerpants Conspiracy | Predicting DELTARUNE's Future
50:36
Aged horribly now that chapters 3 and 4 are out but I still think it's a really interesting turn the game could have took that gives some more minor characters really interesting characterization but what I like the most about this theory is the format used to present it, CammyboiG is my favorite Deltarune channel because all his theories are presented using a very umique format that makes it really easy to understand and entertaining to watch not to mention how unique and creative the theories are, I guess the best way to enjoy his content is to view the videos as half theory half fanfic since sometimes they can focus on very abstract evidence or pure especulation but they're so narratively compeling that I could not care less
Game Composer Ranks ALL HOLLOW KNIGHT BOSS THEMES
51:04
One of my favorite parts about videogames is the music, a good soundtrack is able to give so much more personality to the world and characters and explain the story of the encounters and this man perfectly understands that importance and analizes each track on a really technical yet personal level and even as someone who has heard this songs a billion times this channel has really helped me understand them on a much deeper level, while he doesn't go into too much detail about each individual track in this specific video the entire channel is dedicated to analizing songs from games and in his other videos he gives much more detailed explanations
Can YOU Beat CUPHEAD WITHOUT GETTING HIT?
1:09:19
I have a severe addiction to videos of speedrunners doing the most batshit insanely difficult challenges (which TheBones5 is famous for doing a ton of so if you also enjoy this kind of videos you should check out his channel) and I think this video is one of the very best in that department, the challenge is really difficult, the editing is amazing and the best part is how well everything is narrated, every boss features a detailed explanation of the game's programming and why stuff happens which makes it so much easier to follow
The Inconsistent Philosophy of Jigsaw
1:41:45
Jigsaw's moral code is utter bullshit and that never fails to piss me off everytime I remember it (I guess that's kind of the point since the message of the franchise is "you can't redeem someone with punishment") and I find this video to be a pretty good summary of all the flaws in it seen across the franchise by judging each individual trap to see how well they follow the supposed philosophy of the hypocrite that is John Kramer, in my opinion this user gave him way too much grace but at least they followed a consistent set of rules all the time unlike some people...
Failing At Superman: A Man Of Steel Retrospective
1:45:59
As a huge Snyderverse hater this summarizes perfectly a lot of the issues I have with Man of Steel in a way that's enjoyable to watch even if you are lucky enough to have never seen the movie as it goes in depth as to why the mere concept of this film is an insult to Superman and everything he represents, this is a very well researched video that compares this terrible film with a ton of other better Superman adaptations, and on an unrelated note the narrator here has a beautiful voice which is always a plus in a video essay
Be More Chill Slime Tutorial Except It's Animatics
2:03:38
This is probably the coolest way to see a play if you can't go watch it in person, all the animations are so beautifully done and the best part is that you don't miss out on any important parts of the story because even the dialogue scenes got animated too!! no matter if you have already seen BMC or not I still believe this video is worth checking out because it's such a unique experience, I'm not sure if there are any other musicals out there that you can pirate purely by watcging YouTube animatics strung together but there should be because this is fantastic
Disney's GREATEST Modern Villain: a Turbo/King Candy Analysis
2:14:27
My favorite video essay EVER, it's a magnificient analysis of the absolute wonder of a villain that is Turbo that's so in depth it's half an hour longer than the movie where even the most minor details get ripped apart, I love everything about this video, it's absolutely perfectly explained, you can just tell how much fun Randomaslistic is having because of how excited their voice sounds and how much effort you can tell was put into this because she really covers every aspect of the character and despite how long it is you never feel like it's stretching itself, if you like Wreck it Ralph even a little bit this is 100% worth every second, this video has so much love put into it that it makes me want to start writing my own essays
The Most Disgusting Kids Character Ever Written
2:36:31
Possibly the most unhinged video I have ever seen posted on this platform, the entire recording is narrated like the ramblings of a man from a horror game who witnessed horror beyond human comprehension and is currently hiding in his bunker recording audio tapes where you can tell his sanity is declining by the second and he can only hope those tapes will end up in the hands of someone strong enough to end the beast's reign of terror once and for all but the most interesting part for the better or the worse is that everything said here is true and there's way more to it, absolutely insane rabbit hole
i'm pretty sure this book is ai slop
2:40:22
I don't know why but I really enjoy watching videos of people critizing media that I have never interacted with and this channel is perfect for finding videos of that niche, he explains the plot so clearly so it's perfect for people that haven't read the book but still want to hear the commentary and there's a lot of witty insight put into each segment and a ton of attention to detail, the video is formated in such a fun and personal way that it feels like a close friend calling me to ramble about a horrible book they just read whie still preserving an air of professionalism
How Toy Story 4 Destroyed Everything - The Complete Saga
6:06:50
While I prefer to keep this page more focused on positivity I can't deny that there are few things in life more entertaining than watching someone ramble about a thing they have a ton of passionate hatred for (but only if it's something relatively harmless like a shitty movie), the video is a bit nitpicky on it's critiques but honestly that just makes it so much more enjoyable for me, this was fueled by nothing but pure spite and wrath and the amount of rage contained in those 6 hours is phenomenal and not a single minute of it bored me, the creator recently made a video revisiting this masterpiece, it's called My Final Reckoning with Toy Story 4, heavily recomend checking that out too
