I can't belive it but we're finally getting chapter 5! I very recently finished replaying the rest of the game and I'm so hyped, I have so many theories and things I'm excited for so I though I should document my reaction to remember fondly on this moment so while I wait for my game to update let me explain how this blog is gonna work, I'm simply gonna be playing on my switch whith my laptop sitting beside me and every time something interesting happens I'm gonna pause my game and write about it here

DESSRIEL IS CANON!!!! Asriel has multiple unsent love letters for Dess, that's so cute and so sad

Have I ever told you that Asgore is my favorite Undertale character? so you don't even want to imgaine how equally excited and scared I am for this chapter but so far the Hometown section is adorable, I seriously love Asgore so much he looked so happy talking there I want to get adopted by him, most of Hometown is blocked off which is both nice and awful because on one hand I want to talk to everyone but on the other I'm glad the game is preventing from wasting too much time, also why the hell does Toriel's classroom change so much every chapter? not that I'm complaining I'm just confused

Why is Noelle referenced in Castle town's church?! she's my favorite lightner so I guess this is a win for me but I'm scared that something bad will happen to her, also did they just put Ralsei in a pink dress?

WE'RE FINALLY GETTING AN EXPLANATION ON WHAT SHADOW CRISTALS ARE they contain the power of lost dreams which seems fitting for everyone that has one we met so far (except Gerson because he's built different) and I swear to god if Seam keep saying all those Gaster quotes...

I really like the interaction you get with the Mikes if you decide to give Tenna away, Battat struggling to know what to do with his life now that he doesn't have to be Mike anymore and havng conflicted feelings about it all oh god I can already smell the fanfics, also Jongler and Pluey are super cute I love those 2, also the ending to the dojo fight was hilarious, the Mikes truly are the best trio

OH YEAH IT'S NOELLE TIME BABY! loved the annoying dog name drop, the festival is really nice and sweet, I'm loving all the Suselle moments but when is Berdly gonna show up? I'm so ready to take revenge on Kris by forcing them to spend time with my favorite bluebird

NOOOO WHAT DO YOU MEAN I CAN'T TAKE BERDLY TO THE FESTIVAL?! I PROMISED HIM WE WOULD GO TOGETHER

I can't believe I'm actually really sad over fucking Nicepants, I was completely expecting them to end up dating after a funny miscommunication or something but please Toby just let the funny shopkeepers be gay and happy together, at least the new Burgerpants sprites were pretty funny and I can't wait to see what PizzapantsPosting will say about this turn of events because I'm deadass very invested in this subplot

I am so inhumanely worried about Rudy, I know he's going to die probably but I really want him to be okay, he reminds me a lot of my dad and people dying to a disease is a pretty sensitive topic for me :( but holy shit this is so intense and I love it, I mean we already knew the dark world was gonna be at Flower King but I really didn't predict Kris making it, I thought thay was a one-off thing and while I'm at it I just gotta add, the art is BEAUTIFUL omg this game is so visually stunning now and I love it so much, the animations, the character design, the enviroment, everthing looks so pretty

Toby is getting way too creative with these new characters, I assumed Tenna was gonna be the only weirdo with a very different art style but then we get an anime character with A WHOLE ASS ANIMATED CUTSCENE?! WHY?!?!?! I'm assuming he's an allegory to Rudy? since he's Asgore's best friend? or maybe like a representation of how lonely and desperate for a friend he is? I don't know I'm very very confused right now and I'm dying to see more of this guy, his beef with Ralsei is really funny and I really like how it allows us to see more of his character, I love how shameless the reference to Undertale is like they didn't even bother makng it even slightly subtle and I LOVE the fact that Asgore is actually gonna be a part of this chapter because I was knda disapointed than Toriel wasn't involved in chapter 3 at all so I'm hoping it'll be different this time

I forgot to mention it but I'm super happy about the return of hatted Ralsei he has the cutest sprites, also that momment when we were talking to Flowery and his voice lines started getting replaced by normal talk sounds was so cool, it probably symbolizes something important like the illusion of him being special shattering or something but all I know is that it was very cool, I'm noticing way too much emphasis being put into humans and Asgore needing a human and I have no idea what to make of that (maybe the flowers want to become human so they can replace Kris because the entire purpose of the dark world is to make Asgore happy and forget about the real world) but who cares human souls-inspired darkners are real!!! I hope we get to see all of them since right now I've only seen patience and perseverance but I would love to meet all the others

That plaforming section you can do after getting the feather is so fun! I love the moment so much and I'm praying to every god from every religion we can use that skill again in future chapters

I think I'm already halfway through the chapter and this might become my new favorite, the flower human souls have amazing chemistry and I love their designs and personalities, I think Seth's my favorite (perseverance is my favorite human sould and I love that he's a Berdly fan lmao) but I'm not sure because I love them all, I know I already mentioned it but I love the way Ralsei is characterized here omg he's so petty and it's amazing I especially like the new sprites and I love seeing more layers of him, the enviroments are so beautiful (I still don't understand why it's japanese but I like it) and I'm dying to know more about Asgore, so far we know that he had been in a dark world previously which was one of my fvaorite theories but I still want to know especifically what got him fired, also maybe this is just me but the ammount of currencies in this chapter is making my head hurt, we got dark dollars, flowery dollars and pink dollars

Yellow rocks I love that guy and I want to give him a hug so bad, I still think the human soul flowers are the ebst darkners and I reall want to take them to Castle Town, currently wondering if the punishment rooms are just a funny gag (and a reallyt funny one at that, I laughed so much at how casual yellow is about it all) or a physical maniphestation of Asgore's guilt leading him to self harm

Yellow X Blue is my new OTP, they're so adorable together and I really like how they characterized Blue, I really like how they managed to make him masculine looking despite the fact he's wearing a skirt, he's honetsly my new transition goals, the fight with Blue and Yellow would be my favorite if it was longer because the whole crime solving gimmick is really fun and it was so dang adorable when blue gave yellow a flower bouquet but like I said the fight just feels too short which is a shame because I love how their attacks and personalities synergize

I think I'm near the end of the game? I already finished that section where the 6 flowers try to stop you and Flowery goes all "wgy would you destroy one person's fantasy to fullfil your own?" and guys I'm starting to see his point I mean this the only chance those flowers wil get to actually live and I don't want to take that away from them, I love the flowers and want them to be happy and if I can't take them to my Castle Town then at least I want them to be happy in their own dark world
